  its been a whole month since i last updated

  these dayz:
  as u probably know
  AT went on a cruise
  it was ok
  not as pretty as i thought
  but yea
  it was ok
  well well
  i dun wanna talk (type) much

  cruise to alaska

  day 1: drove to seattle and get on the ship
  grandma standing by mum's big fat odyssey
  took this just after we crossed US borders

  day 2: at sea
  got up ~6 to watch sunrise
  pretty nice
  and saw 2 whales

  
  then had breakfast with grandma

  
  that nite was formal dinner
  so we all had to dress up

  day 3: juneau
  juneau is the capital of alaska
  we unfortunately arrived on a rainy day

  too bad i couldn't find out where to buy one of these decorations... :(

  
  sis + i then went on the tram thingy
  which overlooks juneau
  on a gd day u can get a spectacular view of the city + itz surroundings...

  
  but on a rainy day...
  hmmm....
  i c lots of clouds.....

  
  up there is where an injured bald eagle lives
  she was injured by a gunshot and has lost its left eye's vision
  it could no longer survive in the wild

  day 4: glacier bay
  sunrise.

  
  all 5 of us! :D

  we saw bears
  from really really far away...

  
  since i'm a geog person
  i was excited when i c landforms that i know
  look!
  a perfect glacier-carved-u-shaped-hanging-valley! :D
  (no i dun think there's such a term...)

  it was rather disappointing to be honest
  i was expecting lots of snow + ice...
  well well...
  maybe next time i'll go in the winter instead of late summer...

  
  that afternoon we got nth much to do
  so i walked around the ship taking picz

  again i was disappointed
  i waited for like 3 hrs in the cold
  and saw only like 5 whales

  day 5: sitka
  sitka is a small town
  and its port wasn't deep enough for our ship
  so we had to get on these smaller lifeboats to go ashore

  this is the rather famous st. michael's cathedral
  itz actually nth more than a small church in the centre of a small town

  
  while walking along
  i discovered that a convex mirror could kind of correct my fisheye's distortion! :O
  i guess if i'm careful enough i could totally remove the distortion haha

  
  that nite the stewards had to do a dance thing
  here they were dancing with their (empty) dishes

  
  then they threw fake peppers around with major fail
  those fake peppers fell all over the floor
  XD
  then i wasn't feeling well so no more picz for that nite

  day 6: ketchikan
  "the salmon capital of the world"

  
  again itz a small town
  this shot almost have the whole town in it

  
  mum + grandma got off the ship as if they're movie stars

  this is the rather famous Creek Street
  here houses r built along the creek
  and salmon swim up the creek to lay eggs

  after watching them swim up these rapids
  (with many dying on their way up)
  i thought abt not eating salmon for the rest of my life
  but hmmm....
  no i can't
  they're too attractive

  that nite we again had formal dinner

  one of the photographers on the ship did not turn off a flash
  so i took advantage of it + took a few picz
