so i went down to jericho and saw sth like this
see how the mountain is silhouetted by what looks like light pollution?
thing is... there should be no lights behind those mountains...
lets use some longer exposure and see...

o yea!

at one point you can literally see the light dance
but then again they aren't this bright....

this is closer to how it looked like to the naked eye
you can see the spikes clearly
and a very faint greenish glow

and when i grabbed my cam last week for a sunset
