hmmm guess i should go enjoy some sunshine b4 another long winter somes.... :
picz time i guess?
film shots this time
crappy scans with my epson 3490photo
...
..
.
Minolta XG-M, MC Rokkor 58 1.4, Fuji Natura 1600
hmmm probably shouldn't hv used this combo...
the XG-M's meter isn't very gd under low light... and a lack of AE lock button made me nervious...
safeway @ granvile & 70th
i've always liked this safeway.... that curved roof... yummmmm..... :P
too bad it's gone now... :(
ohhh the softness??
i dunno is it bad focus or shook or bad scan, or bad performance wide open
i dunno i dunno haha
bokeh!
that noise? i'm sure it's from my heavy sharpening...
f1.4, 1/30
boring boring
f2.8, 1/500
more bokeh!
f1.4, 1/250
ummmm dof so shallow so yummy
"y shoot with a f1.4 lens?"
"to get more BOKEH!"
f2, 1/60
damn didn't get much gd shots with the XG-M
the lens looks promising as a portrait lens though
bokeh looks yum yum
shots below taken with Mamiya NC1000s + 50 1.7, Kodak MAX 400
got this combo over a yr ago for ~$17 ($50 for 3 cams)
interesting small camera, shutter priority (boo...) with manual override
looks gd and feel gds, but not very refined... (film adv & shutter release feel kindda rough)
hmmm kodak does look warmer than fuji...??
or maybe it's just the scan....
damn the dust at the zaku's head is annoying.... :
likely taken at f1.7
revisited the rusty truck hoping to get some better shots
results r just as bad if not worse... :
f2.5, 1/250
i dunno if its my scanner or what
all vegetation hv the same shade of green... o.O
f4, 1/125
don't rmb what i was trying to do
f2.8, 1/60
the first time i went there, the words "DODGE" were framed by shadows of fern, from warm afternoon light
... but i ran outta film... =o=
this time i go again there was no gd light.... damn....
f5.6, 1/125
yessss more vintage cars
a merc from the 60's
(?? y do hongers call them "benz" while everyone else call them "mercs"???)
f4, 1/125
and a side shot...
dude this thing is huge!
f4, 1/125
"snack time"
yes, a long lens would show more details of the man and bird, while turning everything else into bokeh
but a long lens doesn't show the surroundings
with a normal lens, the picture is taken as if u're standing there and watching the scene
i guess thats y a normal lens is that gd for street shooting
f2.8, 1/1000
propz plz! :D
